Ingredients
1/2 cup almonds blanched
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup SOY DREAM® Enriched Original
1 shallot minced
2 garlic minced cloves
1 tbsp canola oil
1 dash nutmeg
1 tbsp parsley fresh chopped
salt to taste
white pepper to taste
Directions
  1. In blender or food processor, puree almonds, water and SOY DREAM until smooth.
  2. In sauté pan, cook shallot and garlic in oil on low heat until soft, about 3 minutes. Do not brown.
  3. Add almond mixture to pan and simmer until sauce thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add nutmeg, fresh parsley, salt and pepper.
